Design work and distributor gear oiling has lead us to a oil cup for the distributor gear. This will be a milled circle with approximately .25" clearance for the cam gear and will surround the circumferance of the gear where the distributor gear does not. This allows more oil to be in contact with the cam gear and allow for even greater loads and never a dry spell on the cam gear. By doing this we also limit the size of the cavity and the dead space in the timing cover and therefor limiting the amount of precious oil it will hold and keep from the bearings. This new timing cover will be a precourser to the next generation of Bulltear parts and the ultimate billet timing cover assembly is well on its way!
I am looking forward to your comments Jeff when you see a finished part. Then we can move onto getting that aluminum body for your CJ and possibly anodizing the whole thing :lo1l:

I figured this would be a Primo piece, just not this good...
You know MC when you first suggested this Idea last year it knew it was gonna be good,
It has now turned into Great.
As for the body I was thinking if it has grind marks on the outside, and it isn't polished first I'll look like hell..
On another note I've been busy hacking Chrysler Hemi Powertrain Control Modules.
I got all the code now Chrysler is pi$$d, HAHAHAHAHA
You better buy another miller I gots lots of new projects for the 6.1 Hemi crowd. :t:
