As long as it isn't the weekend before or after Labor Day (fishing in Canada), my schedule is open. I'd love to be there.

I think that USTC (Ultra Secret Timing Cover) would make a dandy tray for hors d'oeuvres at the engagement party. And then it would be cheaper for Jeff, since it would be used.
Lifted79CJ7
So any more updates MC???

Finding accurate timing (Unlike certain import timing covers...uhumm), mapping the water pump bolt pattern and mounting surface. The stock timing cover is pinned down into location. The mighty block of aluminum on the side is heat treated cast plate (Good for this project). It measures 12"x16"x2.5"...thats 2.5"s thick! Thats a nice big chunk of aluminum  After mapping the parts we need off the stock cover then we attack the large plate at about 10,000rpm.
Jeff I hope you can take the teasing #-o

jeepsr4ever
Timing is done...Jeff we can add alot of degree marks here, how many do you want?. You can see 0(TDC),5,10,15,20,25

Blown7
I guess that sounds good for the marks. (Never thought about that much I know around 10 degrees is what we key the idle timing on
And yea your teasing is gonna give me a heart attack before
this thing is done Lol
Seriously that cover will make you

The Myth,
The Legend."
