OK, here we go ...
How it started ... 1985 CJ-7,
White with an anemic 258 that got rebuilt .030 over, cast pistons, decked and trued the block and head. Ported and polished the head , installed new valves, stuck on a Clifford intake and headers with a Webber 38DGES carb. It ran but never left the shop. Still hasn't - it's sitting on the engine stand #-o
I sandblasted the chassis inside and out, POR-15'd it, all rust was cut out of the body (as was the figberglassed cardboard holding the driver in the Jeep  ) and replaced with 16ga Galvalume. Sandblasted the under body before I fixed all the floorboards,
Bed During

Bed Afterand after hurculiner (which SUCKS)

Welded up all the soft top holes, replaced the windshield frame, rocker panels, etc ... junked the seats and bought some APC racing jobbies and installed some RCI 4-Point street belts and am working on the roll cage ... :t:

OH yeah ... While I had the body off I sent it down to the paint shop, now the White CJ is Victory red.
Rebuilt the stock axles (30/20) installed Superior one-piece axle shafts and disc brakes in back. Still got'm never used, 3.73 gears.
Got a pair of D-44's that I rebuilt, went spring over with 2.5" spring lift, spring reverse up front (and had to outboard them as well) installed a Hi-Steer, and for shits-n-grins stuck in disc brakes, Detroit lockers and 4.56's :t:
