Ha ha ha, thats what we charge at our hotel. Used to be 75 cents for a local call, but thanks to yours truely, it is now 10 cents a mintute over an hour (technical term is called "threshold billing"). Oh yea, and 800 calls are 10 cents a minute anything over an hour, also(although first hour is free). Hey, they wanted me to increase revenues, so I just jumped on the hotel bandwagon. I feel bad for the idiots that don't read the phone rates and leave their computers on all night - thinking they are getting away from the $10 internet charge.
Then I realize that I have the rates printed up and posted in three different places in the rooms and then I don't feel so bad! Man, must suck seeing a $60 phone bill on a $100 room though.
And before everyone yells at me for being "the man", I have already gotten my ass ripped opened by more than enough guests about it. Oh the joys of working in a hotel... #-o
Anywho, I am off to nashville tomorrow morning (more like 5 hours from now). Was gonna fly but decided to drive. Talked to my Enterprise guy that I rent the summer beach transportaion van from for our hotel and he hooked me up with a "Premium" car with unlimited milage for next to nothing!! Woo Hoo - can't wait to flog it! Later tatters!
