I killed my computer trying to update from Windows 98 to 2000 and didn't back up anything. :smile: I am REALLY not happy with that.....Resume, Bill Info, Tons of pictures from the last year, 100's of songs and videos, movies, etc posibbly all gone. Doh!
Had someone quit without notice and we are going into our busy season. Dang it, now I really am gonna live at the hotel for the next couple months. :?:
Also most likely (90%) won't get to go on the FL trip with Mudrat thanks to dude quitting. :fist:

Talk to a friend whos wife I hung out with the other night. She started heading home at 2am, but didn't get home till 1pm the next day. He asked me what we did to her as a joke, and I apperently let the cat out of the bag. Doh! I bet his gripe is better than mine today........
The entire key making system at the hotel crashed this morning so came in early and worked on it. Sucks running a 300 room hotel and not being able to make keys for anyone!!!

Had my ARSE handed to me at work today. We are way understaffed and only geting busier. Don't have any good aplicants coming in either. :smile:
Also haven't done squat to the 401 in a while due to it being to darn cold out for my tastes.
Also have no days off this week, or next week, or the next........

checked out a 4-runner with dead #6 cyl, and we'll get blamed cus the valves were done here about a year ago, just before i started here, but it had valve adjustment and noise issues that i've worked on. :(:

Crashed my old harddrive, pulled out an OLD hard drive from years ago and plugged it in there. Using AOL 4.0 dial up at home and the colors are all screwed up. Now it won't even let me access the web, just check mail.
Tomorrow's gonna be a 15 hour day, easy. Oh yeah, and no breaks. Work at a 300 room hotel, and have well over 200 reservations to check in. Oh yeah, did I mention its all kids??? Oh, and Saturday we are overbooked by 11 rooms thanks to a screw up in the sales department. This weekend is gonna stink, I can just feel it. I think I'm gonna go home and :razz: a little. See you kids on the flip side.........

Reps for Busta Rhymes were looking for a room for him tonight, but we had no suites(almost sold out). :smile: Would love to go get a beer with that guy!
Worked from 10am till 12:45am without a break yesterday. One of my staff went home sick, leaving me flying solo. Had a couple bus loads of people to check in by myself. I didn't know they were all coming in on buses. Oh, and I never got a chance to eat all day either. Only thing to eat was a chicken buscuit from ChickFilA at 9:30 that morning, then a couple Miller Lites and a shot of Crown Royal for a 1am dinner. Whew! Now I have a hotel full of 13 year old socer kids and a group of religous women. Not a good combination!! Oh well, back to the grinding stone......

About to finish a 80 hour work week (on salary, so no overtime here!), plus no day off in almost 2 weeks. Next weeks looking the same....... :smile:

:(: The glorious city is working on the sewer pipes a half a block from my house and it backed up all over my place. Overflowed from the toilet and the bathtub (sink level was too high thank god). :shock: Then that leaked all the way into my bedroom! Yuck!!! :(: I have tons of sand, dirt, tissue paper and other peoples S#!T all over my house! Truely nasty!! Hats off to the city on a job well done! =D> Geez Louise! #-o

Got to work and left early. Head is so plugged up I cannot hear outta my right ear. Took a 4 hour nap and will be heading off to get some more sleep soon.
