Other standard features, stock oil pick up hole. stock location oil
pressure port to engine external oil supply port for external oil pump,
stock AMC timing cover compatable, standard type bearings, standard rear crank seal.
Indy has cranks 6 each on the way. 4.00 stroke, and 4.15 stroke. 4.15
stroke with 4.375 bore will build you the magic 500 cube engine. Cranks
Indy will supply come from MOLDEX. These are billit pieces and costs is
a guess right now. Approximately $2400.00 Stock AMC crank will fit this
block. Stock stroke 401 crank will yeild 442 Cu.In."
Then I also read that it was Herman Lewis who had been developing the block (and was rumored to have built a couple at least) prior to selling the blueprints to Indy Cylinder Head. My hat's off to Herman for pumping up the AMC to 500CI, and doing it with a 115lb block!
