Open sheetcam and it will instigate the install wizard. The only thing you need to change through this initial process is
1. Make sure the cutting type is on plasma not rotary
2. Import your post processor DTHC-HYTXXXXXX11J (The 11J is the post we will be using, located in the file folder '201X things that should be on every cnc')
Then it will open in a smaller window, expand the window fully.
Follow these instructions for tool sets
1. Click on any tool on the left and make sure 'automatically generate name' is unchecked
2. Go to file/open tool set and locate your tools (45-105 amp tools are located in the file folder '201X things that should be on every cnc' under 'Sheetcam support files'/toolsets)
3. Go to file/save default toolset and it will save that toolset so it brings it up every time
Follow these instructions for sheet setup/job options and rapid clearance plane options
1. Click on Options/job options
2. Set your machine size and remember X is the long axis (under size)
3. Make sure your co-ordinates are zero under 'enter co-ordinates'
4. Make sure your rapid clearance plane is set to .900
5. Make sure your plunge safety clearance is set to .32
6. Click ok
Follow these instructions to set up the post processor
1. Click on Options/Machine/Post processor
2. Make sure the default on the left is set to INCH and not METRIC
3. Click on EDIT post, this will bring up a small window, maximize this window
4. On the first group of lines you will see the option of using G31 for probe touch off we want to delete the word 'true' and type in the letters 'false'
5. Scroll down just under the halfway mark through the coding and fine the ON PEN DOWN sequence.
6. We want to change the number in this line (25 * scale) to the number 150 (This means it will travel down further to look for the top of the plate)
7. Save your changes using the little floppy disk looking icon on the top left
Install license
Go to Help/Install license and find your license and it will auto-install but will ask that your restart the program. When you close the program out it will ask you if you want to save your changes (This is only referring to the blank job on the screen), click no and your all set
