Dipstick Tube for 1974 Javelin w/360

I bought a Dipstick Tube from another AMC Vendor but I cannot get it to install properly. The diameter of the tube does not seem correct? I am afraid I am going to break the tube trying to force it into the engine block. Do these tubes have to be modified? If so, do you offer a Dipstick Tube that installs without any modification? Yes it installs without modification. There is only one source for dipstick tubes and they all come oversize. We modify these by rolling the tangs in a die and beatex wheel polishing the tangs into factory specs.
