I noticed when I set the dizzy I didn't notice a ground. If memory serves there were just three wires in the dizzy (I can check tomorrow when I do the intake gasket).
Should I tap the upper side of the dizzy and attach a ground?
Thanks,
Jim

No ground should be needed. It will ground to the engine thru the housing and/or hold down bracket. I've never had a problem, even with the gasket used between the dizzy and timing cover. You can install one if it makes you feel better, it won't hurt.

Thank you very much.

Also, make sure you have a good ground strap from the frame to the engine.
Some people add a ground to the black wire between the dizzy and the Duraspark box for added assurance.

Are these enough grounds :)

Hope you sand away all the paint behind those grounds!!!!

Hum, thanks Larry, I did it about 1.5 yrs ago on the build but I will double check, the stud is just a grounding point/tie-in and the firewall is a self tapping SSteel. I'll double check the engine/starter. Thanks again :)
