TWO QUESTIONS: What's this for and where can I get this?

🙁: I have two, make that three questions. Refer to the pic's below.

What is the tube that I am pointing at for? Is it a sight tube?

Anyone know where I can get a timing tape as shown below?

When using the Bulltear Alt. mounting bracket doesn't the Alt. get in the way of the heater hose outlet on the water pump as shown in the second pic. above?

The tube was for an electronic sensor that the dealer (or factory) would use to set the timing. For timing tape, you need to know the diameter of the harmonic. There is an application out there that will work, it's just not listed for AMC. Try Jeg's or Summit. Bob tufcj
