The man in charge is to give me a figure, I have no clue what it is worth. They never use it but they do start it up and let it run for about 30 minutes every few weeks. We don't turn much here plus we have the other two lathes that they use when we do.

Yup 2 years ago. I know a...well knew a couple of guys there. 115 new mchines on the chopping block right now. Word has it they are working on some super secret stuff (MAG)

Damm, one of my best guy's quit today, he was our tool maker. Said he turned 65 this month and thought about it and decided he had enough. He told me at quitting time today that today was his last day.
MC, they are meeting about the bids on the machines soon, I think you look good, I will let you know ASAP.
I am off tomorrow, opening day of turkey season.

No word yet on the bids, I don't know what the bean counters are doing. I did find out that the mits is a 30 HP gear driven machine and is very HD. The controls will not communicate with the network for some reason. They use it from time to time to rough cut and block parts.
