The Senator from MO. doesn’t say who the “colleague” was that called for a FEDERAL gag order on ANY provider to the Medicaid Advantage plan, because HUMANA was explaining to their customers what would be lost under the ObamaCare plan. But he is completely correct in that it is a violation of the First Amendment right of free speech.

“They” are trying to do that with the “Fairness Doctrine” to shut down talk radio already!!

Time to vote the bumms out - next month for some of us and certainly in 2010!!

theres more to it than jsut voting them out. it the responsiblity of the opposition to start COMMUNICATING CLEARLY thier principles and commitments to certain philosophies. Contract with america was a start but then becoming soft and wavering as a group on a host of issues led to a deterioration in the faith the public has in the party's ability to stay together and actually accomplish anything. If they kick the light weights out and then focus on true red white and blue principles. individual freedoms, restoring privacy, advocating individual choice and responsiblity as well as controling spending and keeping taxes in check. they might be able to turn this mess around. but we are a long way's from a conversation like that since no one has really stepped forward as a true leader advocating, communicating and showing the public the way to successfully break free from the statist model that has slowly been slowly gaining traction since the 1930's Tyranny comes in many forms today it is Rampant as the Constitution is trampled on by all levels of the government in the name of public good. Public good is a mater of perspective, social position and exemptions. they have long since forgotten the golden rule that all people are created equal and should be treated, legislated, taxed and charged equally.
