80cjinnc I had someone ask me about an old flat head 6 cylinder that they have and I figured someone here could help. It is in a mid 50's early 60's Willys pickup, they are wonder if the engine is internally or externally balanced. The harmonic balancer they have is coming apart at the back and he is thinking it is like most balancers that have the rubber part to them. He is also looking for another balancer if anyone can help. I will try to get some more info on the engine because I am sure there are several that they put in them and I have not seen this engine. Thanks for the help.
tufcj Not sure on the balance. Places like http://www.damperdoctor.com/ can rebuild his harmonic. Pick up a "JP" magazine. There are a couple of places that specialize in Willys parts that advertise there. Helped me a lot when I had my 49 CJ2A. Bob tufcj
