dwg86 With all the problems with failed lifters and cams, what brand lifters are made in the USA? What brand lifter are poeple using when rebuilding thier engines? Anyone have a brand to stay away from?
JERSEYJOE I have never had a set of lifters fail. I would use generous amounts of assembly lube on the lobes and some type of engine oil supplement and break the cam in slowly. My feeling is that early cam / lifter failure is a direct result of improper assembly / break in / lack of EOS
