Right now I happy that I couldn't afford the new Aluminum body.
With all the cutting and modification I have to do with the old steel YJ body I'd cry if I messed up the Aluminum one.

When the times right in a couple years I"ll have a good template

BTW I settled on a name good or bad it's "Thunderstruck"

Are you an electrician? If not, it looks like you will be when your done! :wink: Damn there are a lot of wires! Very cool build! :lo1l: May I ask where your going to drive that thing? You sure won't be able to keep it on any trail! Good luck!

Sweet Jeff! I cant wait to see that pupper done! I am glad you puloed the pin on the body. With aluminum prices the way they were it just didnt make sense not to wai if you ever get interested again give me a call on it.

You got that correct, maybe the price will "halve" before the years out.

Looks like some serious progress! I was going to say, "man Jeff, you seriously need a better roll cage", then I realized I was looking at the soft top skeleton, ha, ha. The color threw me off.

Yes I installed the soft top bars so that the S&W racecars Chromemolly cage can be cut and welded under the top.

You've come a long way since the last pics!!! Looks good, but I have the same question as northplainsdrifter, Where?

But I have to admire a built, blown and laughing gasssssss injected motor, in a Jeep :-) I think you'll be able to give Fuzz a run in the 1/4 :t: :lo1l: :mrgreen:

And there are a BUNCH of us wondering where the P/S pulley's (and serpentine set ups) are. 111!!! :oops: :shock:

Well I'm not an electrician by trade but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last nite.......

Seriously though I'm and aircraft mechanic with avionics training so it may be lot of wires but yes I probably can wire that in my sleep. It's alot of wires but they all have a place to go.
BTW those wires are just to run the engine/powertrain.

Those wires don't even include the Jeep wiring itself, like lights, wipers and gages.

mine only needs 2 to run 1 if its only for a little while :mrgreen: I think I'd go cross eyed trying to fit it all under the hood
