dizzy gears

i installed a 4wd hardware hei dist. about 8 months ago and last week as i was driving the engine popped and shut down(amc 360 in a 79 cj7) .the cam gear is gone... ive read as much tech on this here that i can find,and want to order the matched set of gears,but will the dizzy gear fit my aftermarket dist.?? any help would be greatly appreciated

It should fit with no problem, lot of folks around here have done it with no problem

They sell the Crown brand gear sets and they have a soft distributor gear and a hard cam gear....not a good combo.
