AMC/JEEP 401*SOLD***

Just picked up another CJ today and it has a 401. Complete motor including aluminum intake and carb.Has not been run for several years. Was last turned over about 2 years ago. Is now stuck so I would assume that at least a hone job and some new rings are in order. $750 or minus intake and carb $600.

I guess that would depend on where you live and will you chip in some extra for gas money? I am not going to drive 1/2 way to California.

I know that I would not do that with out some decent money for travel. It is still 300 miles one way.

Not a problem by the time I spend a $100 on gas and the time it will take to get there I might as well just sell the motor local for $500. I will be putting it on a stand yet this week and see if it frees up easilly. I am pretty sure that it will. Than I might just use it myself.

I hope it makes a good engine for you. I found a good one in Georgia that will run and is onley 150 milles away for the same price! If you find that it needs work and reduce the price I might could have it shipped to indy. Thank you.

As of right now it is still available. I have been giving some serious thought to putting it in one of my jeeps though so if that happens it will no longer be for sale.
