I guess I could come up with my own theory on the name:
"Late one night on the icy tundra of a frozen lake in Minnesota, three hardended AMC veterans hunched over a tiny fire drinking Icehole silently pondered the fate of leafsprings, cast iron heads, and porcelin inlaid timing covers.
An ominous noise was heard in the distance whereupon Mudrat exclaimed: 'what's that ominous noise in the distance?' Tufcj slowly looks up from his Icehole, a small grimace etched in his frozen beard 'Aye, 'tis the Northern Witch comin to claim the soul of another outsourced parts dealer'. 'Nonsense' interupted MC 'It's simply the wind blowing through the frozen trees'.
Stiffly, MC arouse, and gently placed his Icehole down on the camoflaged Coleman cooler he was sitting on, and taking the time to light a cigar, went out to check on the noise. For several minutes Mudrat and Tufcj sat quietly...still pondering Bob's Northern Witch story and too frightened to move. Or perhaps too cold. Or more likely, not willing to let the Icehole out of each others' sight. So they sat. And waited.
After several minutes they heard a muffled sound- the sound of something hitting the snow, and a small voice in the distance uttering only three short, surprised, questioning words: 'What the duece?!?'. Mudrat and Tufcj arose to their feet and glanced quietly at each other...each fearing what the other was thinking. Their questions were soon answered by the approach of.....a cow? Trudging through the frozen snow, the cow approached Mudrat and Tufcj who backed up several steps cautiously. Horrified, they noticed the butt of a cigar hanging out of the mouth of the beast, and the faint smell of cheap cologne that smelled suspiciously like MC's brand.
At that point...they knew. And with a look of horror on their faces, Mudrat and Tufcj set out to find MC leaving the cow lounging by the fire quite satisfied. And the name of a premium parts manufacturer slowly borne in the minds of these hardened Northern Midwesterners."
MC wasnt molested by a large bovine (cow) was he? :shock: :?:
