dooghssr I need to get a trans cooler for the new auto install. Need to know which type to get and where to mount it. I prefer not to mount it in front of the radiator so am leaning towards one with a fan mount, but don't know where to mount it.
ironman_gq look for a stacked plate type cooler like you find on trucks from the oem. they are much more durable than the tube and fin. Get the biggest one you can fit cause you will need it if you off road your jeep.
dooghssr stacked plate? Where does this mount? Hopefully not in front of the radiator. I am already struggling with over heating issues.
ironman_gq they mount wherever you want them to as long as you get one with its own fan. Ive seen em mounted under the hood near the wheelwell or even under the seat or in the rear window. anywhere it will get a good supply of air for the fan to pull through the cooler.
