Alrighty guys, got a question about intakes and exhaust manifolds / headers....
AMC 360 engine.
Got a Holley Pro-jection kit to go on it.
First question(s): Stick with the factory intake manifold or go with another aftermarket one? Will the Holley Pro-jection kit work with a performer intake by Edelbrock? Any other brands y'all would recommend out there?
Second question(s): Factory exhaust manifolds or aftermarket? Need to stay inside the frame rails. If aftermarket...what are the best brand(s) out there for your buck.
Thank you!

Go with the Edelbrock shorty headers. :t:

depends on what your using it for. long tube headers will be better at making torque for towing or trail riding than shortys will. way down low you probably wont notice an improvement over the stock manifolds. a set of in fram long tube headers shouldnt cost more than 200 bucks if you dont mind painted ones.

The performer is a good replacement for stock. The pro-jection will bolt right on as long as it's a square bore.
I run a 3" single exhaust thru factory manifolds, and I actually see a little improvement in torque over headers/duals. There is a slight drop over 4500 RPM, but I seldom rev it that high.
