Just got back.
Measurement was 1.701 to 1.700 inches.
Also, I was doing some research and something was said about one end being tapered to allow for the torque converter to slide in easier.
If you need anymore information from me, let me know.
I went ahead and had the pump rebuilt in the transmission and the guy confirmed that the bushing in the front pump did look worn from all the vibration. I would rather be safe than sorry on this one.
Thanks again.

Got it we will make it at 1.699 so you have a nice slip fit. I need a couple days we are swamped right now.

No problem and thanks a million.
Just let me know what you need from me and I'll make it happen.
With the OD of the torque converter spud being 1.700-1.701 inches, and the ID of this sleeve being 1.699 inches, I'm assuming that I'll need to freeze it before I insert it into the crank and get the transmission-torque converter stabbed fairly quickly to allow it to fit due to the fact that the sleeve will me smaller than the OD of the spud?
Thanks again.

Good Afternoon,
I hate to be a bother, but was curious if you've made any progress with the spacer?
Thanks for all the help.

Thank you for the help. VERY appreciated.
Please let me know what you need from me financially to compensate you for your time/help.
Can't wait to get this thing back on the road.
I spent the downtime changing out the clutch in my 69 vette. HUGE difference in working on the two.
The vette takes longer to get up on jackstands and situation for the transmission removal, than the transmission removal itself.
The jeep, hell, doesn't need to be lifted at all. Actually, it's a little tall, so I've let the air out of the tires to drop it a few inches so the transmission jack will reach.

Good Afternoon,
I hate to be a bother, but have you had any luck with the part?
Just wanted to check in with you.

Laugh. No worries.
Thanks a million.
I ended up taking off out of town myself to go work on my skydiving......
Let me know what you need from me.

How about the wrong converter? I saw that on a couple rigs with the adapter ring. Converters were too long to fit and punched the trans pump. It would be too short the other way around.
jeepsr4ever
Ok bud its done. You will need to put it into a freezer first before installing and use a chunk of wood and a hammer. Test fit it onto your converter spud before doing anything.

Laugh, I was sitting here working and got the immediate email notification.
Do you need my address and I need to contact you for payment.
Thanks a million plus one.

I recently helped another customer with one (I work at NAPA) We used a Speedi-sleeve that did the trick. (He borrowed the book and ordered the part from my boss while I was on lunch so I didn't get the part number)
