Saltwater Cowboy I just bought a previously built 360 and have a question. The motor has been bored .30 over with stock style pistons ,an RV cam (not sure which but the motor was built for torque), fenderwell headers, Ford ign with a MSD box, and a torker manifold. Now I am going to be freshening the motor up before I install it so I have been doing some research and read that this manifold is built for 3500-7000 RPM. Is this manifold going to cost me low end torque? Should I switch to a Performer or a Air Gap? It is going in my Jeep so I am looking for low end torque and won't be revved past 5500 RPM. Thanks for the info.
ironman_gq I would ditch the torker and get a performer if your after torque. the torker is more of a street/strip manifold for the hotrod crowd not so great in an off road slow jeep.
Saltwater Cowboy I don't think the manifold is a Torker. The former owner said it was but R4B is stamped on it. What kind of RPM is this manifold for? Will this get me bottom end torque like I want? Thanks!!
Dusty ironman_gq wroteis it single or dual plane? torker is a single plane The R4B is a dual plane intake
