just bought a chevy 5.3 with low miles...got it cheap...i am saving my coin and buying all the parts i need slowly...im doing the swap to fuel injection.....discuss...is this a good swap? am i waisting time?? is the 700r4 a good tranny behind this motor and infront of a dana 300???

The 5.3 truck motor is NICE for Jeeps. A friend of mine runs a 5.3/Turbo350/D300. The bad part is the adapter to run the D300. $$$

yeah...im not looking forward to spending the money on the trans and transfer case...but i think it will all be worth it
