How much clearancing to get a 4" stroke in a 360 block? Money is tight till the fall, but I'm interested in a 360 stroker.

A few questions.
what is the price ?
what material are they made of ?
where are they made ? china I assume ?
what is the quality of the forging ?
What size rod journals will they use ? I would assume a 2.100 small block chevy size would be most appropriate ?
Thanks,
Rob

Not sure of price right now. So far we know these are 4340 and their will be 4 in the 4.125 stroke and unknown in the 3.800 stroke. The finish work is being done by Callies so they will be perfect. October is the delivery date.

I am interested. It sounds like it will be a quality piece if it is a good high quality 4340 forging that is being finished by Callies.
And of course Callies has different levels of their finished cranks. Just as an off the wall example....you might be able to buy the cheapest Callies SBC crank for $650 but it is heavy and there has not been any work done on it as far as profiling the counter weights and weight reduction. The same basic forging as the above that is super knife edged profiled counter weights and ultra lightened might be $2000 dollars.
With so may variables it is hard to know what to think without some kind of idea of a cost and to what level the crank has been finished to. If it is $2200 I don't think that you will pull away customers from buying a Moldex billet crank ? If it is $1200 dollars you might have a lot of racers chomping at the bit for one. If it is $750 you might have every Jeeper in the country that is still running an AMC V8 opening their wallets tomarrow. :)
