tufcj wroteRemember that below the stall speed, the converter is slipping, and therefore creating LOTS of heat. The higher your stall, the more heat you create. Make sure you add a trans cooler that's up to the task.

Bob? No matter what the converter will create heat, understand that part (work=heat). But if I understand your statement above, it creates more heat below than above the stall speed??
