OK guys, I bought a 2800cfm electric cooling fan for my CJ5, AMC360. Best to install as a puller or pusher. Of course as a puller I would remove the clutch fan. What has worked best?

i just bought the flex a llite dual electric fan with thermostat control and they were made for the cj and they are pullers

Did you remove the mechanical fan? I plan to. I might also upgrade to a high flow water pump while I'm under the hood. Currently run's 200-210 in 70-80 degree weather.

The fan will be more efficient as a puller. I would make it a puller if the factory fan is removed, or make it a pusher to supplement the factory fan.
Do you have a shroud on it? Putting a factory style shroud on my CJ made a huge difference in the coolant temps.

I never get over 190 with the taurus fan set up as a puller with no mechanical fan
