The last few years of the 360, maybe 89-91, they used a mini-starter and a different flywheel. Prior to that, all V-8s and I-6s used the same large Ford-style starter.
There are 2 different starters, a regular duty one with a bolt/stud on the side of the case, and a heavy duty one that had a brass tab that extended out past the rear of the starter housing.
