Bulltear remote filter housing

I have a Bulltear remote filter cover on my pump. Which line the output line? Is the one closest to the front or rear of the engine?

The one that says "to filter" or "filter out" will go to your oil filter. I believe this line is closest to the engine.

There are no markings on mine.
