74' AMC 304 .030" over....heads?

Hey there I have a 74" AMC 304 that is being bored .030" I was wondering if the 360 heads will then fit. As far as the valvetrain goes with the extra boresize will this allow enough room for the larger 360 valves. Thank you.

A 360 head is still iffy, and will depend on the cam lift. The valve is still so close to the cylinder wall that you may lose performance. I'd stick with the 304 heads, and go with a 1.9x intake and a 1.50 exhaust (chevy valves) for more performance. Bob tufcj
