MSD Ignition Tach Hook Up?

Ok guys, I am feeling REALLY stupid on this one! I elimated the stock motorcraft ignition box on my 79 CJ-7 and am running a MSD 6A box with MSD Blaster Coil and MSD Billet Distributor. Of course, my factory tack will not work. The MSD box has a plug for a tach, but they say I need to install their "Tach Adaptor" for my tach to work. I have the adaptor but am having trouble finding the tach lead to hook it too. I'm getting laxy in my old age, particularly because my CJ-7 has factory air and it's a pain to get to the tach leads. Anybody know where it is under the hood? I know it used to come off the coil, but with the factory harness disconnected I am at a loss. Anybody done this before? Thanks!

Not sure about the MSD Box, but the stock tach lead comes off the negative side of the coil. You can probably run a seperate wire off the MSD coil.

Should be gray wire off the MSD box to tach. works on the tach on my CJ7.

If it is a factory tach, the leads are under the dash around the steering column. The two tach leads wired in series from the key switch to the factory module. Dave
