Let me reintroduce my jeep wagoneer to yall.
Stock 83 waggy with 4 inch lift 360 amc engine
727 tranny amc 20 rear-end dana 44 front.
transfer case stock quadratrac? 229?
My jeep will not shift into four wheel drive at all.
whaty would be the best bet for me to do.
Transfer case swap or fix the stock one?
really dont like the vaccum engage on the stock one.
If swapping is the best bet what T-case do i need to look for
for the easiest swap?

A 208 would be easiest, bolts in, you'll need the rear shaft from a 208 cherokee/wag as well, and you could run lock-out in the front with that case.
I do have a 208 case right now that needs a new rear yolk, I don't think I have any rear shafts right now.
