frenchy Is the circled port just a vacuum port? Anyone have the performer intake or know what this should connect to ? It's a really tight spot with the holley truck avenger carb on top, hoping I can just plug it ? On an AMC 360, non EGR '75 CJ5
J4GRAND I believe that is the vacuum port for the brake booster so if you have power brakes, you'll need to use that port.
jinpdx You can plug it and use the large vacuum port on the backside of the carb for the brake booster if clearance is too tight, but then you'll have to figure out where to hookup the pcv, assuming you are going to use it. Or you can use a one inch spacer under the carb and a 90 degree fitting in that port.
tufcj On my Jeep, the fitting behind the carb is plugged. The power brakes are connected to the fitting forward of the carb. You'll need a longer hose than stock, make sure it's vacuum rated or it could collapse. Bob tufcj
Rhinolined360 the two closest holes to the carb is vacuum, plug one use the other for a brake booster, the one by the thermastat is for an oil tube that is like 6inch long, you put a breather on that or a cap with a line to your air filter, the hole in the back is for a pcv, its important you run that and the oil tube breather
tufcj Also, be sure to transfer the tin pan from the bottom of the factory manifold to the Performer. If you don't , you could have an oil burning problem. Bob tufcj
