Hi everyone, we are looking for some more parts. I have a friend looking for a 5 speed for his 93 Wrangler and I have another friend looking for a Dana 44 rear from a 87 Cherokee if anyone can help please let me know. Thanks

I guess the Tranny we are looking for is a AX-15. It is a 6 cylinder if that matters.

Not sure if they are the same, cherokee(XJ) and comanche(MJ) but years ago I was looking for a 44 for an MJ and never did find one ended up beefing up the 35 that was in it.

Look in 87-89......damn near every 87 and mid 88 Comanchee i've seen has had a D44....and in cherokees 87-89 with a FACTORY hitch have them......anything with a tow package would have had them and most times it will have 3.73's and a few odd ball 3.54's in the mix. I know a buddy that might have a good housing from an 87 XJ. Not good guts inside though....Oh yea...MJ's have spring under in rear and Xj's are spring over, same width and everything else.

my mj was an 87, 4.0 5spd 31x10.50x15's = torn up d35's, lasted until I sold it after putting in a trac-loc. :?:
