Did the same kit in mine in April this year!Dumb question is it hanging up on the case?If it is you need to cut [yes cut] a piece of the case out.Do you still have the instructions?If not i can e mail them to you from work tomorrow.Our tech thought hed get away with out cutting the notch out but to no avail!Mike

I agree. I did the Lomax, not Teralow, but had to do the same thing...notch the case to get the bigger gear in. This was also called for in the instructions.

Case is notched and the gear sits almost in place.

It's just the last little bit to 'fall in place'

Lost the instructions somewhere over the past year (my shop is a mess) - been using the TSM and Haynes for reassembly. But I found them Archived HERE. I tried calling Teraflex but the number onthe box is now a doctors office the Teraflex page doesn't even list the D300 TeraLow kit anymore :shock:

OK, got this one sorted out. After beating myself up, I took the T-case all the way back down to parade rest, pulled the gear clusters apart, and checked all the shims etc...

Then I put the b!tch back together after everything checked SAT. Since the instructions were LAME on how to install the shifting rods I did a net search and found NOTHING for the Teralow kit, but found some GOOD info from some guy that did a LOMAX kit.

See the lower left shift rail ... ?

Of all things I had installed the rear shift rod in upside down and the cut out for the larger gear was keeping it from falling in place :oops:

Thinking about it, the case is assembled upside down, but the DWGs are all right side up. #-o

Oh well, it's back together and has the first coat of primer on it =D>

Well if I want to blow up a new $1000 T-5, just the shocks (and bleed the brakes) :t:

If I want to drive it for a while, the shocks and the 727 install. That's why I built the SPARE D300 to put in the 727 and drop it all in and drive away knowing I won't use too much skinny pedal and screw the tranny up :mrgreen:
Oh Yeah, the BT Dizzy fixed the 50* advance issue :?
