hei distributor for my 360??

As I look around on line I see a huge price difference in products with seemingly little difference in description such as ebay.anywhere fromm $99.00 -$239.00. from here at bulltear $155.00. they all seem to have the same description outside of a die cast verus machined billet housing. My diecast has held up since 1983 so I can't see blowing the extra $$ just to say i did..what's the deal?? :-| Brand name?

Personally look more into it :idea: Basically, You get what you pay for... The cheap ones use nothing but china parts which will leave you stranded when you least expect it or wanting to do something... Others will sell their product with "Minor" defects... Personally save up and toss a couple extra pennies to the side every payday in-order to get a High Quality product... (D.U.I. HEI's) with the LIVEWIRES... Very nice set-up and they're quality is by far second to none... You'll end up paying $$$ but you won't complain later... DUI's HEI is either 50,000 or 60,000 volts where the regular HEI is 30,000? or something in that ball-park. Just my 2 cents 111!!!

Some HEI units are made poorly and some dont even fit. It used to be that you got what you paid for. The main difference between ours and theirs is that ours was built to our spec. We have gone through several mfgs and it seems each had at least one major flaw in the design. If you were to buy all the different HEIs on ebay you would find some of them wont even fit an AMC and some will fit but wont work and some will work fine. Apple to Apples as they say. :idea:

i paid around 150-160 for mine off ebay and it worked great...in fact i liked it enough that i bought a buddy one from the same person on ebay...hei is defiently the way to go
