I have a set of Hooker Super Comp Headers 7104HKR.
I recently installed later model heads (3196291-c ) while rebuilding my 1969 390.
Can I use these headers with the new heads?
If So what gasket do I use?

are the old heads dog leg ports if so then you should be able to.

The old heads were the stock square ports.
The new heads are dog leg ports.

Guess existing headers are also rectangular port ?
If so, yeah, would want new doglog port headers for dogleg heads.
Many opinions on gaskets, have had good luck with Mr. Gasket #5950.
Some use only red hi-temp silicone and no gasket.
Others the gaskets that come in the FelPro engine gasket set.
