Goose wroteYo! MC we need a "replacement Shifter" something we could cut the old iron pole off inside the shift boot and weld some CNC high speed low drag cool looking Bulltear thingamagizzie in over the stub.. Or thread it or something.. wouldnt that be Cool??

and it really would be cool, honest...
I thought about doing that too (I currently have a T-5). Threading the short shift shaft and screwing on a coupler (with either LOCTITE or a set screw) for a new upper shaft. But I got lazy and just snot welded (read major buggers) a new piece on it for now. :oops:
