my dowel pins are all mashed up & I need new ones.. is it possible that my jeep dealership will have them does another vehicle use the same type/size pins? could I find dowels/some sort of pin the same size at my hardware store? I have acces to a machining lathe next monday to make my own out of a piece of steel if i need to.. but would like to get something that'll work tomorrow.

measure them and cut new ones out of some drill rod. you should be able to find that somewhere.

I found some roll pins at the local hardware store.. 5/16th worked perfectly.. thanks though..
