SS Distributor, Yes or No?

I'm in the process of measuring an AMC HEI distributor... My plans are to make a Stainless Steel distributor... What if any would be the Pro's and Con's? Besides what I have listed.

Pro's = It should last for every AMC V-8 that I'll purchase from now until I'm gone...
It'll be strong as Hell, It'll look good with minimal maintenance (cleaning etc).
Con's = Heavy and ?????

would the stainless and the aluminum timing cover have any reactions with each other at all, like steel and aluminum do?

I was thinking about under-sizing the shank put some fine threads on it, machine a sleeve put some fine internal threads in it and set screw it making sure it doesn't come lose.

shouldn't be a problem even if they do interact with each other. It wont be much different that the steel bolts that hold the cover on and they usually come out without a problem.
