Soylent_Green MC, did you ever make wheel spacers? Will is looking to offset his stock rims now that he has the 35's on there. I'm thinking 1 to 1-1/2 inches. If you make them that would be great, we like to keep our money local. :t:
jeepsr4ever Yes we made them for 6 years however the import billets are now cheaper than the material I can get.
jeep_man_401 Bet that billet stuff starts out from a boat in the good USA as raw ore and get refined there. Isn't china getting all the steel and coke from us, then we get lead back on toys under the free trade? lol How many aluminum pop and beer cans would a guy have to melt down to make a AMC block?
Soylent_Green How many aluminum pop and beer cans would a guy have to melt down to make a AMC block? I DO have a lot of beer cans laying around.... So, where's a good place to get the spacers?
jharlan68 I've seen spacers of several different thicknesses on ebay starting at about $60/pair plus shipping. Considering purchasing a set myself, my CJ5 has 33x12.5x15 and there is noticeable rubbing with the rear tires.
fifesjeep Too much money for me... Either way you cut it... Maybe if I had a constant flow coming in then I'd splurge but until then... I'm counting pennies... So to speak.
