What are you going to put the 8.8 under? CJ, YJ or TJ? :-|
There are three basic versions of the AMC 20 that can be found in the ’76-’86 CJs. The ’76-’81 CJs are narrow-track, ’82-’86 ones are wide-track and are about 3 inches wider. CJs with the Quadra-Trac transfer case have a narrow version of the 20 with an offset differential. The differences are:
Model/Version; Spring Pads; Wheel to Wheel; Years
AMC 20/CJ Narrow Track; 36"; 50.5"; '76-'81
AMC 20/CJ Wide Track; 36"; 54.5"; '82-'86
