Yes they are '70 291c's, a pair, and one has the "issue".
The 291c's were planned for the '73 401.
So the epoxy / block filled is applied inside the collant passage(s) ?
Not on the outside surface of the casting ?
I still wonder if it can be caused by lifting, removing, & installing
a fully assembled motor with chains attached to front of head
on the passenger side, especially whith back of engine tilted down.
Now use and engine plate on the carb studs.
