tufcj Casting? Lets CNC a new AMC block. MC, you need one of these! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsmiIeAkE-o Bob tufcj
jeepsr4ever I saw that vid from Matsura. I dont agree with the way they machined it. It looks like they let the cad dictate the cam. I use CAD everyday and generate my own depth of tool path. I think that block could have been made in half the time using the right cutters  Its a great video though!
Goose I think we need a one piece block/head design with a built in manifold you could run outrageous boost and no head gasket worries... (ok so the assembly problems might be a pita... but nothings perfect) #-o

Soylent_Green You could install the valves through the cylinder, before the pistons were installed, but you'd need to figure out a creative piston ring compressor. It could be done, no?
jeepsr4ever Its a cool way to make a drag only block becasue I didnt see any coolant passages being bored.
Goose See, we just need to get MC primed and thinking.. next thing you know!!! Wham-o we got 4000 hp all aluminum bulltear motors!!! (Right after he clones himself so he can get all the other stuff done) :!:
Soylent_Green Just need to clone his brain, then he can start making bitchin billet aluminum robo-crusties!
PaintedRat Have you seen Multiplicity, and the problems with cloning? Each step from the original gets worse. Three generations of clones, and it'll be Geo engines he's kickin out.
