Well, I finally got the Huncho to the drag strip. Its a small 1/8 mile track. I haven't raced at a track for at least 15 years...so don't laugh to hard at the reaction times. :oops:
Through the mufflers...(1st run, entry 767 wrong name though)
And the best was uncorked...(they got the name right this time)
Thats with the new chain in the Q-trac and a truck weight of 4750lbs.
I couldn't get into 3rd gear either...was hitting the traps at 5300RPM in 2nd and shifting at 5500RPM.
Makes me want to swap motors and throw that narrowed 9" into the Javilen and get some better E.T.s :-|
Needless to say I lost in the first round due to reaction time #-o But at least I know what the truck can run. Now I have to get that low range beefed up somehow for the pull in August.
