I'm going to be moving my 360 into a YJ, but I want to mock up the drivetrain to weld in the mounts without taking apart my running vehicle. Does anyone have a cheap AMC V8 block, any size in central California? Prefer something cracked or otherwise beyond reasonable repair so I can just drop it off at the recycler when I'm done.

check the local salvage yards. It'll be cheaper to pull a bad motor or get a block from them than to have one shipped to you.

I wouldn't want to ship. It would be cheaper for me to drive three hours to get one than the local salvage though. This was just an idea, incase anyone had something like this handy.

We do we have a 360 block with the inside plasma'd out but it still weighs around 70lbs
