rollen dean montoya yes it is. the germans were probably getting desparate and used captured enemy gear.
grignac48 According to the article it was captured by the Germans then used against the Russians. Then driven into the lake when the Russians started gaining ground on them. A small boy saw the tracks going in and later bubbles. It was only recently that the older man mentioned it to a WWII hobby group and they sent divers down and found it. It had 105 rounds inside. Most everything still worked, except the engine #-o . No snorkle kit! Very little rust. =D>
