I just found my pulling set-up this weekend. :?
A complete '80 Silverado 3/4 ton pick-up with a full floater 14 bolt rear, TH400 and NP205. All for $250! :lo1l:
I'm thinking of swapping my J10 sheetmetal on the Silverado's frame. Not unless anyone out there has a J20 for $250? :wink:

I still plan to on one local pull this summer with the 'stock' J10 I have now. But if anyone is looking for a rolling chassis J10 I will have one for sale later.
Maybe I might have to rush that stroker motor now...

Good score!!! So are you wanting to run a Chevy engine or are you going to get an adapter to mate the Chevy TH400 to your 401?

No, I have a TH400 now behind the 401...they came stock in the J10's. I'll just gut the chevy Th400 for the tail shaft and use it in the Jeeps TH400. I'm hoping the Jeep and the Chevy trannys are the same at the transfer case ends.
I just need the Chevy drivetrain because the J10's isn't strong enough to be reliable at the truck pulls.
