V8 360/401 Q. I have nice original timing covers here, will reuse them.
So, if i want to use external oil filter and oil cooler what do i need?
- Oil Filter relocation kit (endplate + fitt + rem filter holder)
- Oil Pump Kit HP
- Matched Cam & Dist Gears
Oil Pump Midplate also advisable with the new endplate?

Does it make sense to upgrade to a dry sump system (offroad car, sees extreme angles)? What would be necessary for this conversion? Any drawbacks?

The exact parts you would need from us would be the oil filter relocation kit and the cooler upgrade. The others you can get elsewhere if you need to but we have plenty in stock.

What im still unsure: do i need the midplate or does it make sense to buy and install this plate as well with the new basplate included in your relocation kit?

A midplate is a very good idea to combat wear on the 626 plate that comes with the relocation kit.
