This is the rear output shaft from an early model 20 transfer case. It shows what happens when you side-step the clutch at about 5000 RPMs with 35" tires and a posi. Traction was better than I thought.

This is what happens when you run lifters designed for 90 Lb springs with 135 Lb dual springs.

I did that years ago but with the fine spline shaft - it looked like some one took a saw to it put spline marks in my frame when the slip joint came apart

This is pure art form. =D> Mount it on a walnut plaque and take it to an art show. Should bring about $5,000.00. If it doesn't sell hang it in your shop.

One of the guys in my club has a piece of an inner spline from a D35 that twisted in half. The splines although twisted, are still on the shaft and the steel that was under the splines is gone.....it looks like some sort of midievil dental tool gone bad:-|
