Goose oh great...That would be spiffy.. A Jeep with the offraod abilities of the "LEGENDARY" S-10/blazer.. Oh My GAWD..(actually that 4.3 is a pretty potent little mill.. I had a 96 S-10.. it was feeble off road embarrasing really.. but for power..210 hp and it really ran well..)
82Waggy I have a soft spot for 4.3's myself. Always wanted to put one in a custom flat fender. Maybe I will someday.
rollen dean montoya i would get the buick 3.8 S.F.I. turbo and stuff it in. 375hp is way better than 210
BREK It would be even better yet if gm would go back to the early 90's 4.3l (without the balance shaft) like what was in the typhoon, there are many more performance parts available for that setup.
Mudrat jeepsr4ever wroteProbly the best thing to happen to the Jeep line since AMC bought out Kaiser. But us 6-cylinder guys would still have to go elsewhere for 6-cyl parts  I had to buy and build a V-8 just to keep MC in business

FSJnovice Bah generic motors is only looking at chrysler not dodge or jeep. DC is trying to offload the chrysler line instead of killing it off like plymouth. Anyway how would generic motors afford to buy it anyway with all the money problems they have. Most likely it will be a foriegn company from china or japan that will purchase it instead. :evilbat:
